Maroon & Turquoise Class

This week our reception, year 1 and year 2 artists created a variety of patterned, coloured and textured paper to use in next week’s collage project. We used rollers, ink, crayons, brushes, watercolour and pastels.

Amber & Magenta Class

Our year 3 and 4 artists were inspired by the work of artist Reggie Laurent. We looked at examples of his work and created our own interpretations in collage using coloured paper. Next week we’ll add detail using Posca pens.

Jade & Emerald Class

Our year 5 and 6 artists were also using Reggie Laurent as inspiration for their work.

Cyan, Indigo & Cerise Class

Our year 7-11 classes used marbling techniques to produce a range of patterned papers to be used in next week’s collage project. We got some very interesting results!

Violet Class

Our Explore Arts Award group worked on some clay masks as part of their award. We looked at different examples before designing our own. Next week we’ll paint them!
