We had a lovely couple of days of festive workshops this week! Here’s what we’ve been up to…

Ceramic Tile Painting

We used ceramic paints and alcohol inks to decorate tiles, with some very colourful results!

Creative Christmas Trees

We used paper, card and foam sheets to create some festive Christmas trees!

 

Rustic Christmas Decorations 

Visiting artist Samantha Hope showed us how to make a variety of Christmas decorations using twigs, hessian, ribbon and other sparkly bits and pieces!

 

Pom Pom Wreaths

Visiting artist Rose Croft showed us how to make pom poms, and we used them to create colourful Christmas wreaths!

 

One Stroke Painting

Rose showed us how to create intricate patterns using the technique of loading up multiple colours on the same brush. We perfected the technique on paper, then had a go at painting our own arms! Rose painted some of our faces too.
